American Regulators USA Returning to London, Kentucky for One-Year Anniversary of Deadly EF4 Tornado
GOSHEN, OHIO — American Regulators USA Disaster Relief & Search and Rescue announced today that team members will return to London, Kentucky on May 16, 2026, to honor the one-year anniversary of the EF4 tornado that struck Laurel County on May 16, 2025, claiming 19 lives and devastating the community.
During the visit, American Regulators USA personnel will reconnect with members of the London-Laurel Rescue Squad, first responders, volunteers, and community members involved in the original response and recovery operations.
American Regulators USA will also attend Laurel County’s “Day of Remembrance” alongside the London-Laurel Rescue Squad to honor the lives lost and recognize the resilience shown throughout the recovery process.
“This return is about remembering the 19 lives lost, honoring the survivors, and standing beside the responders and volunteers who answered the call during one of Kentucky’s darkest moments,” said Mark Fouts of American Regulators USA.
American Regulators USA assisted alongside multiple agencies and organizations during the original tornado response and remains committed to supporting communities long after national attention fades.
At this time, American Regulators USA will not be conducting media interviews during the anniversary events. Media outlets are encouraged to reference photos, updates, and information available through the organization’s official Facebook page and website.
