LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Disaster response teams from across state lines continue arriving in hard-hit communities like London to offer relief.
American Regulators USA is a disaster response unit from Ohio. They track storms, conduct search and rescue, clear debris, and provide emotional support to homeowners. Member Mark Fouts was in London, serving anyway he could.
“An EF4 leads to total devastation. You can’t really put words to what you see,” Fouts said.

Not only was Fouts working to clean the impacted areas and clear debris, but he was also having personal conversations with those impacted, showing these people they have a friend is part of serving.

“The debris management is very important, but you actually have to get out here and have conversations with community members. If you see anybody that’s standing around or perusing their yard, stop and ask them if they need help. Stop and ask if they want to chat. Really, that’s what it’s about. It’s outreach, it’s unifying, and it’s coming together in these communities to get it done,” Fouts said.
